My name is Anthony Coffey, and I am a full stack developer based in Austin, Texas.
When I was younger, I was always drawing and creating things(or destroying them). As a young teenager, I built robots, created my own comics and Flash animations, and designed my own video games.
I was lucky enough to grow up with computer access right at the beginning of the internet age. I would spend hours on the computer researching anything I wanted to learn, and that’s how I learned HTML and got introduced to programs like Maya 4, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.
Eventually, I grew up and I went to college like everyone else. I graduated from Gulf Coast State College in May 2012 and afterward started doing freelance work for a few local clients. I even sold websites door to door at one point, and it actually worked for me a few times! haha
By 2014, I was working on the development team at RiskProAdvisor.com that was responsible for building out the first prototype that helped the company raise a 1.9 million dollar development budget in a Series A funding round. Since then, I’ve worked on hundreds of different projects for clients all across the globe.
What I bring to the table is more than a maker mentality. By combining my knowledge and experience with an objective perspective of your business, I can help you see your project in a new way.
I’m very passionate about software development and education. I have a goal to reach 1,000 people by teaching them how to code and make money running their own business writing software for the web.
Because I love my work! The intersection of business and design/development is simply fascinating to me, and I spend much of my free-time learning about it.
